What is Board level repair ?

It refers to repairing electronic circuits and components on the laptop motherboard / system board. This will reduce the cost of the repair as we only replace what part has broken instead of replacing the entire circuit board where the fault resides.

Can I get a Quote before sending you the Laptop / Computer ?

In most cases yes we will offer a fixed price quote, if we are unable to offer a fixed price quote you will be sent an estimate with minimum and maximum prices, and the option to state how far you want to go with a repair.

What if you find out my Laptop / PC is beyond economical repair.

We will explain what parts of the Laptop are still working, if those parts include stored data we offer to recover the data to DVD, or the option of having your old hard drive mounted in an external enclosure with USB2 high speed connectivity. We then offer to buy your broken laptop if we deem left over parts sellable, this way we can offset the cost to you. Depending on your Insurance we can also write out an unbiased report to pass on to your insurers to assist you in any claim.
